Part 2: Long Turn

You will have to talk about the topic for one to two minutes.

Part 3: Two-way Discussion

You will be asked further questions connected to the topic in Part 2.

  • How is the rapid growth of e-commerce impacting traditional 'high street' retail businesses?
  • What psychological tactics do advertisers use to persuade consumers to buy things they do not need?
  • Do you think society's culture of mass consumerism is the main cause of current environmental problems?
  • Why do some people place so much importance on buying luxury or designer brand names?
  • Will physical cash eventually disappear completely as digital payments become the global norm?
