Part 1: General Questions

The examiner asks you about yourself, your home, work or studies and other familiar topics.

Do you currently work or are you a full-time student?
What is the most interesting part of your daily work or study routine?
Why did you choose this particular field of work or study?
Is there anything you find challenging about your current job or academic program?
What are your long-term career or educational plans?

Part 2: Long Turn

You will have to talk about the topic for one to two minutes.

Describe a job or position you would like to have in the future.

You should say:

what the job is
what skills or qualifications are required
where you would like to work
and explain why you want this particular job.

Describe a successful project or assignment you completed.

You should say:

what the project was about
who you worked with
what challenges you faced
and explain what you learned from completing it.

Describe an inspiring teacher or manager you have had.

You should say:

who this person is
where and when you worked or studied with them
what they taught you
and explain why they were so inspiring to you.

Part 3: Two-way Discussion

You will be asked further questions connected to the topic in Part 2.

Do you think artificial intelligence will replace many jobs in the future?
What are the main advantages of continuing education and training for adults?
How important is a university degree for finding a good job in your country?
Should companies be responsible for the ongoing training of their employees?
